- Bungie has announced that they are switching their release model for Destiny 2 expansions titled: Codename Frontiers
- 2 ‘medium-size’ expansions will be released per year – Starting next summer, a new expansion, codenamed “Apollo” will contain 2 major ‘Season’ updates in Summer (Codename: “Arsenal”) and Autumn (Codename: “Surge”). In Winter 2025 (going into 2026), will be another expansion, codenamed “Behemoth”. This expansion contains 2 more ‘Season’ major updates in Winter 2025 and Spring 2026 (no codename for these)
