Anyway, here we are with the 2017 predictions for the WWE PPV Fastlane.

Non-Title Matches

• Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax – PREDICTION: Nia Jax. After RAW last night (Spoilers), it is going to turn out to be a squash match unless there is interferance from Bayley or someone else. If Bayley does interfere, it could be problematic later on in the PPV and I do not want Bayley to not fight!
• Sami Zayn vs Samoa Joe – PREDICTION: Samoa to win. Ah, an old fued from NXT has been rekindled on RAW and we see these 2 square off once again. I don’t see any reason for Zayn to win this match so I would like that Samoa wins so that he looks strong going into Mania.
• Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman – PREDICTION: Braun to win. Oh look…It’s this shite again. I am getting angry at this non-existant fued…They are doing this so that Roman actually has a match, there is no reason for these guys to be in a fued. This match should have been Roman vs Undertaker after what happened at the Royal Rumble, but hey…beggers can’t be choosers.
• Rich Swann & Akira Tozawa vs The Brian Kendrick & Noam Dar – PREDICTION: AHH! AHH! AHH! AHH! and Rich Swann to win. Yes, I know they are the face team and Brian/Noam need to look strong going into Mania and this match should help them going forward.

Title Matches

• Gallows & Anderson (C) vs Enzo and Cass for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship – PREDICTION: Enzo & Cass. As it pains me to say, they are good on the mic…And just OK in the ring, but it would be massive POP for them to go into Mania as tag champs.
• Neville (C) vs Jack Gallagher for the WWE Crusierweight Championship – PREDICTION: Neville to retain. He is going to hold onto this for a long time and Jack can’t get it right now. Hopefully Jack can face Tyler Bate for the UK Championship belt after Mania
• Bayley (C) vs Charlotte Flair for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship – PREDICTION: Bayley to retain and Charlotte’s streak to break! Just like the Undertaker’s streak at Mania…Charlotte’s PPV win streak has to be broken and the only person right now that can do that is Bayley…with some help from Sasha. (Possible outcome…Sasha turning on Bayley and Charlotte getting the DQ win)
• Kevin Owens (C) vs Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship – PREDICTION: Goldberg to win! Yes, I know, it’s a cliche at this point where Goldberg is going to win in x amount of seconds, but this is going to be a long match which ends up hurting NOT JUST Goldberg but Owens as well. This should be a great match and I would like to see Goldberg go into Mania as Champ!

Welcome to my predictions for the SmackDown LIVE Exclusive PPV, Elimination Chamber 2017! It has been 2 years since the last Elimination Chamber PPV.

In 2015, we seen Ryback obtaining the Intercontinental championship, Dean Ambrose won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and Kevin Owens had won against John Cena while still holding the NXT Championship.

A lot has happened in the 2 years since and now it’s time to run down the predictions!

Non-Title Matches:

• Luke Harper vs Randy Orton – PREDICTION: Randy Orton. It seems kinda baffling that Randy Orton would lose to someone like Luke Harper. Outside of this recent ‘family fued’, they have never fought in a 1v1 match before. Luke is good, but not good enough to win against Orton.
• Nikki Bella vs Natalya – PREDICTION: Nikki Bella needs to get back into the title scene and the way to do this is to fight against Natalya and then perhaps jump in the fight with Alexa later into the night.
• Becky Lynch vs Mickie James – PREDICTION: Becky Lynch. I honestly do not see a good sustainable future for Mickie James. Personally, I feel that her time in WWE should have be finished and done with after that NXT match with Asuka or even better yet, keep her in NXT for a while. SDLive has enough of talent at the moment.
• Apollo Crews & Kalisto vs Dolph Ziggler in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. – PREDICTION: Apollo & Kalisto with Apollo to pick up the win. This was a thing? Heh…ok, Um…well..Jobber match. Dolph needs to get out of this shtick that he is in and get into the IC title scene again. I don’t know what WWE are trying to achieve with him at the moment.

Title Matches:

• American Alpha (c) vs The Usos, Heath Slater & Rhyno, The Ascension, Breezango & The Vaudevillains in a Tag Team Turmoil Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships. – PREDICTION: Alpha to retain. Other the Usos, who the hell would you give the belts to. I know you could give it back to Slater & Rhyno, but honestly, this seems like a snooze fest. PISS BREAK to be quite honest.
• Alexa Bliss (c) vs Naomi for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship – PREDICTION: Alexa to retain. I was worried that Alexa was going to be a chicken-shit heel and was going to run away from the matches against the bigger women, but no, this should be a good fight and I am actually looking forward as I do like Naomi. (Can we forget about Heel Naomi from last year shudder )
• John Cena (c) vs Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles vs Bray Wyatt vs The Miz vs Baron Corbin in a Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. – PREDICTION: Big Match John to retain. I would like to think that WWE has a plan to keep him and the belt together until WM33. This would be awesome and it should be set in stone. It would be a nice surprise for The Miz to get the belt.

And that is the predictions. I will be staying up this Sunday for the PPV, and I will be watching in Taima /r/sc so join us there 🙂

Last night saw the 30th Royal Rumble match occur from the Alamo Dome in Texas with a a surprising amount of people attending (52,020) and while the entire card was fantastic, the Royal Rumble match was slightly disappointing.

I am not saying it was a “shit” match, but it wasn’t the best.

First of all, there was really 3 surprise entrants. 1) Mark Henry [RAW] 2) James Ellsworth [SDLive] and 3) Jack Gallagher [205Live]

Tye Dillinger [NXT] was not a major surprise as we have been looking for him to appear as #10 for the past while.

The match overall was OK, but seemed a bit…slow, especially when Braun Strowman [RAW] was taking out everyone and was waiting for the next jobber to come in.

Then we skip onto the end, Chris Jericho [RAW] being there to near the end was pretty good. According to WWE.com, Chris lasted over an hour inside the Rumble.

Goldberg [RAW] looks wayyyy too strong to take on Brock Lesnar [RAW]. Any other day and Brock would annihilate Goldberg. But now, he is 2-0 against Brock. The Undertaker [Not signed] was also looking very strong in this Rumble.

Now to the finish…Randy Orton [SDLive] vs Roman Reigns [RAW]. Well, we could have seen this a mile away with Roman being at #30, and I thought WWE was done at pushing Roman for the title…Perhaps there would be a showdown between Roman Reigns and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 33.

Let me say this:
“Randy Orton is the winner of the 2017 Royal Rumble and will face the WWE Champion John Cena [SDLive] at Wrestlemania.”

This video was uploaded some time ago, but is still relevant going into this match at WM33.

Am I happy that Randy is main evening WM again? Yes.
Am I happy that it is not Roman? Hell Yes!
Will John Cena defend at WM33? Well, he’ll have to defend at Elimination Chamber…but we’ll go with yes for now.

SDLive: Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella & Naomi vs Alexa Bliss, Mickie James & Natayla in a 6-woman tag match. PREDICTION: I can see shenanigans happening with this match which will end up with Alexa beating down Becky along with Mickie James. Alexa, Mickie and Natty to win!

RAW: Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax (Kick-off Show) PREDICTION: Nia Jax. Simply put; Destroy Sasha Banks ASAP.

Title Matches

205: Rich Swann (C) vs Neville for the WWE Crusierweight Championship PREDICTION: Neville to win. This guy has been deserving a belt since he was brought to RAW. He is at his peak right now and we need him to win!

RAW: Cesaro & Sheamus (C) vs Gallows and Anderson for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship (Kick-off Show) PREDICTION: Cesaro & Sheamus to retain through DQ. I’m predicting a chair shot will end the match from Gallows & Anderson with a beat down and a few Magic Killers. Should be a good match!

RAW: Charlotte (C) vs Bayley for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship PREDICTION: Charlotte to retain. I don’t think that Bayley is ready for this championship. Give her another 6 months and then put the belt on her (Maybe Wrestlemania)

SDLive: AJ Styles (C) vs John Cena for the WWE Championship PREDICTION: John Cena to break Ric Flair’s streak! John would love to go to WM33 as the WWE Champ against a rubber match against AJ. This would be a good fight and I would like to see Big Match John get the win!

RAW: Kevin Owens (C) vs Roman Reigns in a No DQ for the WWE Universal Championship (with Chris Jericho suspended in a shark cage above the ring)

PREDICTION: Kevin Owens to retain. It’s kinda hard to call this. Roman has a good shot because Vince loves Roman but at the same time Kevin is a good champ. With Chris Jericho in a shark cage, he might have a couple of items in his pockets (Think back to NXT Toronto where Paul Ellering was in the Shark cage) but I would like to see Roman getting killed by chairs.

And that is my predictions, for the Royal Rumble. I will have a 3rd Part for NXT TakeOver: San Antonio with a quick predictions…I don’t watch NXT but I’ll do a simple “X v Y – PREDICTION: X.” with no explanation.

Just as a foreword, this would be my first proper Apple Mac. I had purchased the 2014 Mac Mini and I was honestly disappointed by it. It was only used for web browsing and nothing more.

At Christmas 2016, I was thankfully gifted a Late 2016 MacBook Pro from my parents after I failed to purchase one locally. It would be the base model of the 13″ MBP without the TouchBar. I will be doing a review of my experience of the MBP on TechTalk soon!

Anyway, it’s time for “What’s on my Mac!”

I will not be commenting on everyday tools that I already use on Windows (Discord, Spotify, Steam…everyone knows that already)

Adobe Photoshop CC 2017

When I got the Mac, I figured that I would be doing some web graphics and I figured that I need Photoshop. I was going to “obtain it”, but for the sake of €12 a month, I decided to buy it from Adobe. It comes bundled with Lightroom which I have never used and I probably won’t be using it.

iTerm2

After using the regular terminal on Mac, I decided to try out iTerm 2 which appears to be the most popular alternative and I love it. While I have only used it just to connect to the servers; opening tabs, splitting windows is just so handy and simple to do. I will play about it a bit more before I give my full recommendation on it.

Puush

(Contradicting to the above where I wouldn’t cover daily use applications)

While there might be better screenshot, upload and copy URL applications out there (ie. ShareX for Windows), puush has always been the “go-to” application for myself. I have been using the service for many years now (I think about 5 years … checks – 6 and half years) and I use it because it is so simple to use.

TextWrangler

There is plenty of text editors out there for Mac. You have Sublime, Atom, TextEdit and then you have TextWrangler which I would compare to Notepad++ for Windows. Throw anything at it and you can work with it. The nice thing which I have used on it was the FTP option. Connect to your FTP server…open a file, edit it and save it back! Fantastic.

TextWrangler is as simple as it gets. While I love Brackets, I can’t get away from TextWrangler.
