[The JukeBox] #55 – Joji - Slow Dancing in the Dark

George Miller made his name on the internet way before the release and popularity of Slow Dancing in the Dark. For several years, George was under the persona of Filthy Frank.

Frank had a comedy skit show named The Filthy Frank Show that was on the lines of Jackass + Really Dark Adult Humour which became a popular mainstay for his channel until he started focusing on his music career under the name Pink Guy who was a recurring character on The Filthy Frank Show. Pink Guy was George in a pink jumpsuit who made rap/hip-hop songs in the same vain as the videos that he was making. 2 albums were released in 2017.

Around this time, George’s started to go under the stage name of Joji as he started to release music content on YouTube

At the tail end of 2017, George ceased all creation of content under the Filthy Frank and Pink Guy name.

In September 2018, Joji released SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK single which was part of his October 28th release of his first album BALLADS 1.

As per the last two posts from [The JukeBox], I found music has been popularised from the app TikTok, SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK is no exception.
