WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 – Scotland Predictions
WWE’s first Premium Live Event in Scotland is being held from the OVO Hydro in Scotland for the 2nd ever Clash at the Castle event.

This show will feature 5 title matches including the 2 main men’s world championships, the women’s championship and the women’s tag team championship.

Title Matches
- Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn vs Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark in a triple threat match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships
  - PREDICTION: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill to win and retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
- Sami Zayn (C) vs Chad Gable in a singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
  - PREDICTION: I feel that Otis/Akira/Maxxine will turn on Chad tonight. But Sami will win and retain the Intercontinental Championship
- Bayley (C) vs Piper Niven in a singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship
  - PREDICTION: Home.town.hero! Piper will take the WWE Women’s Championship and everyone will celebrate… I hope 🙏
- Cody Rhodes (C) vs AJ Styles in a “I Quit” match for the Undisputed WWE Championship
  - PREDICTION: Cody ain’t losing, lol. He is going to hold that title for a long time. Cody to win and retain the Undisputed WWE Championship
- Damian Priest (C) vs Drew McIntyre in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
  - PREDICTION. Home.town.hero Part II. Drew has to win it tonight. Glasgow will riot if he doesn’t win the title.

NXT Battleground 2024 Predictions
Tonight for the first time in WWE history, NXT Battleground is being held in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tonight will crown the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Championship, it will also be the first time that a TNA superstar will challenge for an NXT title.

Non-Title Match
- Shayna Baszler vs Lola Vice in a NXT Underground Match
  - PREDICTION: Shayna to win.
Title Matches
- Nathan Frazer & Axiom (C) vs The O.C in a tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championships
  - PREDICTION: Nathan & Axiom to retain.
- Oba Femi (C) vs Wes Lee vs Joe Coffey in a Triple Threat Match for the NXT North American Championship
  - PREDICTION: Joe Coffey to win and become champion.
- Sol Ruca vs Lash Legend vs Fallon Henley vs Jaida Parker vs Michin vs Kelani Jordan in a 6-pack ladder match for the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Championship
  - PREDICTION: Sol Ruca to win and become champion.
- Roxanne Perez (C) vs TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace in a singles match for the NXT Women’s Championship
  - PREDICTION: Roxanne to retain. (But I wouldn’t be surprised if they give Jordynne the title)

Gaming News for Wednesday 29th May 2024
- Remedy Games (Alan Wake, Control, Quantum Break) have re-branded their social media profiles to ‘Poison Pill Entertainment’ to tease the upcoming Alan Wake 2 DLC.
- Sony will hold a PlayStation State of Play this Thursday at 11pm Ireland Time
- Activision have been granted default judgement in its course case against cheating provide EngineOwning. They owe Activision $14.45 Million in damages and $292,900 in legal fees. And the EngineOwning domain must be transferred to Activision.
- Sony have removed the interview with Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann with the following statement:
In re-reviewing our recent interview with Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann, we have found several significant errors and inaccuracies that don’t represent his perspective and values (including topics such as animation, writing, technology, AI and future projects). We apologize to Neil for misrepresenting his words and for any negative impact this interview might have caused him and his team. In coordination with Naughty Dog and SIE, we have removed the internet.
- Valve have confirmed that once you die, your Steam account cannot be transferred to someone else.
- It Takes Two has been updated to remove EA’s launcher, to allow Steam Friends and the game can now be played on the Steam Deck.
- Sony in Korea have certified a PC adaptor for the PlayStation VR2. No information as to when the adapter is being released.
- Intercept (Kerbal Space Program 2) developer has revealed that the team will be laid off on June 28th.
- Star Citizen still doesn’t have a release date, but has raised over $700m with $3 million being raised from the free play period that was held last week.
- CD Projekt Red have announced that development of Cyberpunk 2077 is has wound down after 3 and a half years. At the end of February, 17 people were working on CP2077, as of April 30th, that number is 0. The bulk of the developers from CP2077 have moved onto developement of the new Witcher game titled Poloris

WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024 Results
While I am not happy with the location of these events, I am glad to see that this was, yet again, a very good card.

There was a bit of controversy with the Gunther vs Randy Orton match relating to Orton’s shoulder not being down while the referee was pinning, but according to Triple H, that the referees decision is final.
