WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 Predictions

WarGames is back on WWE for a 2nd year for the 37th year, it is Survivor Series.

2 WarGames matches, 2 title matches and a possibility of some ‘punk’ showing up?

    Non-Title Matches

    • Dragon Lee vs Santos Escobar in a singles match.
      • PREDICTION: It was initially supposed to be Rey Mysterio and Santos, but then Rey is out because of surgery he needed to get done to his leg and then Carlito was replacing him and as of SmackDown last night, he got injured so it’s now Dragon Lee facing Santos. A much younger guy facing off against Santos is perfect and will be a good lucha-style match. Dragon Lee to win.
    • Prediction of a match. Shinsuke Nakamura vs CM Punk in a singles match
      • PREDICTION: I know. Call me crazy, but with so much talk about CM Punk lately, it’d be foolish to not fantasy book. Given Shinsuke’s promos the last couple of weeks, he could be targeting anyone, but with Punk leaving AEW and the slight teases that have been on the shows the last few weeks, you can piece bits together. I am not saying that he is 100% coming back, but I would feel with the recent Shinsuke stuff, I could see it happening.
    • Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi & Becky Lynch vs Damage Ctrl (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane & Asuka) in a WarGames match.
      • PREDICTION: The face team have nothing to lose. Damage Ctrl with the newly added members of Kairi and Asuka should help elevate this match. Damage Ctrl win.
    • Cody Rhodes, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn & Randy Orton vs The Judgement Day (Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) & Drew McIntyre in a WarGames match.
      • PREDICTION: Hard to judge who would win this match. I can probably tell that Randy will probably turn on Jey, and maybe some other dissolution within the team. I feel the same could happen for The Judgement Day, as JD & Drew are not liked by Damian Priest. Perhaps the ‘leader’ thing will get to this head and cost the match. Cody, Seth, Jey, Sami & Randy to win.

    Title Matches

    • Rhea Ripley (C) vs Zoey Stark in a singles match for the Women’s World Championship
      • PREDICTION: Zoey is nowhere near ready for the title. Mami is going to smash her like a jobber. Rhea to win and retain.
    • Gunther (C) vs The Miz in a singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
      • PREDICTION: This is probably going to be the match of the night. Gunther’s chops are going to hurt Miz the same way that Gunther’s words hurt Miz on Monday on RAW. Another notch in the title reign for Gunther. There is no one that can take the title off him. Gunther to win and retain

    WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Predictions

It’s that time once again for another Saudi Blood Money show. Held in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is WWE Crown Jewel. It is the 5th Crown Jewel event and 10th overall.

Out of the 8 matches on the card, 4 of them are championship matches.

    EDIT: Results

    Non-Title Matches

    • John Cena vs Solo Sikoa

      • PREDICTION: John Cena – You would go against Big Match John? In Saudi Arabia. He is loved there and they of course would love to see him win. There is no reason for this match to happen in the first place.
    • Cody Rhodes vs Damian Priest

      • PREDICTION: In the same vein as Cena va Sikoa, do you have Cody lose in Saudi Arabia? Damian can easily take the loss here as there is nothing on the line. Cody to win.
    • Sami Zayn vs JD McDonagh [Pre-show match]

      • PREDICTION: JD McDonagh seems to be WWE’s new punching bag (It was Corbin and Theory in the past), so beating up JD McDonagh doesn’t seem like a bad thing. Sami to win.

    Title Matches

    • Iyo Sky (C) vs Bianca Belair in a singles match for the WWE Women’s Championship

      • PREDICTION: Bianca finally gets her revenge for Iyo cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam. While I think these two will put on a good match but I would like to see Iyo come out and still remain champion.
    • Rey Mysterio (C) vs Logan Paul in a singles match for the WWE United States Championship

      • PREDICTION: Rey hasn’t basically done anything with the title since winning it back in August. Logan holding the belt would actually be a good pop in Saudi and then Logan will be able to promote the company outside of WWE. Good marketing stunt right there WWE. Logan to win and become champion.
    • Roman Reigns (C) vs LA Knight in a singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

      • PREDICTION: Roman Reigns to retain. We know how this goes – I don’t think we will get the title changed until at least Wrestlemania.
    • Rhea Ripley (C) vs Nia Jax vs Shayna Baszler vs Zoey Stark vs Raquel Rodriguez in a Fatal five-way for the Women’s World Championship

      • PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley to retain. While the others do have a good shout at the title, who would you see become the face of the women’s division if it is not going to be Rhea. Really difficult question to answer.
    • Seth “Freakin” Rollins (C) vs Drew McIntyre in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship

      • PREDICTION: I think this has been a long time coming. Drew’s time is now and I would like to see him winning this match. Seth’s reign with the title has been cool but I am ready to see a non-Shield member with the title. Drew to win and become champion.
