  • Weeks are flying!

    Ever since Christmas, I feel that the weeks have been very very very quick!

    I was supposed to be going to Monaghan this weekend, but I couldn’t due to just being exhausted for some reason.

    I was saying to a colleague at work today, “How did it become Thursday all of a sudden?”, like, where did the other couple of days ago?!

    Anyway, the best thing about the week being quick is that I am looking forward to the weekend, which is pretty cool.

    And now my hours are getting switched up so I will be working later in the every day for a week, every 4 weeks, which is not too bad at all.

    And it gets me something to do at the weekend 😛

    I have a lot on my mind, relating to Nologam, so I might talk about that in my next post 🙂

  • Music Bot for Nologam

    So, a couple of nights ago, I introduced a new bot into my TeamSpeak known as the ‘Nologam Music Bot’

    It sits in the channel and plays music…whether it is from a radio stream, a YouTube link or uploaded file, it can do it.

    At the moment, it is playing a old radio station from Belfast known as Energy 106 which I grew up with and still love the music that they air today!

  • Trying to think outside the box

    I am toying with the idea to put a landing page to invite more users to Nologam. As I have said before, it has been really difficult to come up with ideas that would work in this situation.

    Bounce rates are at like 40% which is not good (Should be under 30% if possible) and I feel that more people would be discouraged from the website if they have to do multiple clicks/taps on their computers/phones to access the main part of the site which is the forums.

    What is the best way to approach this?

    Please let me know via Twitter @PadraigFahy as I am very interested in how to increase A) Hits to the site and B) (and more importantly) User Retention!

  • Level 60!

    So I am after finally getting to Level 60 on World of Warcraft. Let’s keep this train going!

    Onto TBC content now.

  • Ah Saturday!

    Saturday’s just seems to be that day to A) Have a lie in for a while and B) Get your house tidied. So I managed to have a bit of a lie in, got the place tidied all by 12 which I am very happy about!

    So that means that I can chill out for the rest of the day and play WoW and other games 😛
